Tell our Rock Fans about the band’s latest release?  Where did the band record with and who? 

Our latest single release “What Now” came out on June 19th and has quickly picked up steam thru Spotify, Youtube and other popular media download services. The song was recorded at Pearl Sound Studios in Canton, MI with our longtime producer Chuck Alkazian.  For the last 6 years, Chuck has produced some of our best music we’ve released. It’s a team effort, that special chemistry between band and producer that’s hard to find.

How long was the writing process and what inspired you on this new release?

“What Now” was originally demo’ed a few years back. We knew it had the potential of being a strong song but at the time we had a bunch of songs we were considering and “What Now” kind of temporarily got put aside. Winter of 2026, we came across the song and after listening for a few minutes we knew we had to re address it, make it lean and mean.

What changed during this process from previous releases? 

Our writing and recording process hasn’t really changed over the years. When you find something that works you stick with it and that definitely applies to how we create music. If anything we’ve learned what not to do when writing and recording, this speeds up the whole process but it is the music business so buckle up for a bumpy road ahead.

What’s next for the band?  Any Tours or festivals Lined up? 

We are always writing and creating music. Even if it’s just demo’ing a cool idea goes a long way down the road. Sometimes those cool ideas turn into great songs so try to document everything cause you just never know.  We easily play120 shows a year, mostly in the southern east United States. At the current moment, we have no bigger tours or festivals lined up but that can change instantly. We are always looking to jump on the right tours or festivals that will complement Kings County’s music.

Describe your live show to a fan that has not seen you perform before?

Recording music is a great rewarding experience but performing live is the payoff. Watching fans sing back your own lyrics is an amazing feeling. Some of them know our lyrics better than we do. Energy is key, the last thing you wanna do is bore your audience and your show better match the intensity of your music cause people listen with their eyes. If you play hard rock music such as we do, you need to up the show. Lot’s of power and energy from the band will become infectious to your audience. Never want to leave your fans disappointed.

What is your favorite song to play live? Always a tough question to answer. 

Wow, you’re right that is a tough question. I have my favorites but I base that on the different venues we play and which of our songs are the biggest in that town. Always enjoy rocking “So Cold”, “My Addiction” and “Bleed These Tears”. They have great power and energy and they really get the crowd fired up.”What Now” is starting to gain traction with our fans, a real fun song to play live.

If you could collaborate on a song or tour, what band would you choose and why? 

Great question, there’s so many awesome bands out there that would be amazing to tour with as an opener. Three Days Grace, Shinedown are among some. A few of our songs have an industrial hard rock feel to them so even Nine Inch Nails and Manson would be a great fit.

What drives you as a musician? Being creative is definitely number one?

This really depends on which version of myself answered this question. When I first started out as a teenager playing, yea, I loved playing an instrument but probably back then it was the attraction from girls, ok, I said it. As I got older and took music more seriously, creating my own music was the goal and I never looked back.

What band member gets the most *Attention* from the fans? 

I will pass on answering this question for the fear of incriminating myself, LOL. Honestly, it’s pretty even across the board. Some people are fans of singers, some people gravitate towards guitarists and so on. It really depends on where we’re playing. 

Who is the laziest band member when it comes to load in and load out each night?

Should I really answer this question? LOL. We do travel with own pa and lighting. We all have our own specific jobs to do to make it like a well-oiled machine. When you set up and break down for so many years you get real good at it cause time is money. 

What is the single greatest musical memory so far while being in the band? 

The highlight for Kings County was in 2018 when we won the iHeart music contest for original music with our song “Take It or Leave it” and we got to open for Bon Jovi at a sold out arena show here in Orlando, FL.  Even though Bon Jovi’s music and our music are quickly different we got amazing reviews and that pushed us to dig deeper into creating new music.

If the band were thrown into a wrestling battle royal, which member would win?  

Easy question, that would be our drummer Joe Lopez. He’s a big guy and he’d easily pile driving people off the top ropes. Now I kinda wanna see it, thanks for the visual!

What can fans expect next from the band? 

Creating new music and performing live is a priority for Kings County. We also take a lot of pride in making some of the best music videos out there. We use some of the top music video directors in the business. (Jon Vulpine) Our theory is people listen with their eyes and it’s our job to create one bad ass visual for our music that the listener wont soon forget.
