(September 5, 2025) – Next month, tens of thousands of rock and metal fans from around the globe will come together October 2–5 for the 13th year of Aftershock—The West Coast’s Largest Rock, Punk & Metal Festival–at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California.
The four-day destination event will feature 115+ bands on 4 stages, with a lineup of icons and emerging stars including:

Service fees on all pass purchases include a charity fee for the DWP Foundation, which gives back to local and national charities throughout the year.
Weekend and daily Park & Ride passes to and from Cal Expo are also available for purchase as an add-on option for the most convenient way to get to the festival grounds, as there is no onsite parking at Aftershock. Each Park & Ride Shuttle Pass includes free parking for a vehicle at Cal Expo and a nonstop shuttle to and from the festival site. On festival days, shuttles will begin service approximately 60 minutes prior to the gate opening time and run approximately 75 minutes after the end of the event each night.
In addition, Aftershock has again partnered Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates to provide a complimentary bike valet onsite at Aftershock. The bike valet will accept all active transportation vehicles, including bikes, skateboards, and scooters. and will be watched throughout the entire event. Discovery Park is located along the Jedediah Smith Bike Trail and getting to the festival by bike is fun, convenient and encouraged.
For those that prefer to use ride share services to get to Aftershock, the Jibboom St. Pick-Up Zone is located on the south side of Discovery Park, across the Jibboom St. Bridge. Exit the venue on the Jibboom St. side and cross the bridge. At the end of the bridge, follow the bike path under the I-5 overpass to your left. The rideshare zone will be shortly up the path on your right, near 500 Bercut Dr. in Sacramento.
