  • Get to Know RASH PANZER

    •  Tell our Rock Fans about the band’s latest release?  Where did the band record with and who? 

    The last three records were produced by Serge Morattel from Rec Studio. We discovered his talent through the “Liberation” album, he is the magician behind our sound.

    • How long was the writing process and what inspired you on this new release?

    For the “Born to rock’n’ roll” album, it came quickly after the recording of the Liberation album. 

    •  What changed during this process from previous releases? 

    The broken trust we get through the recording disappeared thanks to Serge. 

    •  What’s next for the band?  Any Tours or festivals Lined up? 

    We’ve got some gigs in Switzerland coming up from July, the released of the”Back on the Rocks Remastered “ and we are working on new songs too. 

    •  Describe your live show to a fan that has not seen you perform before?

    If I would come and see for the very first time Rash Panzer, the one thing that would really impress me, is the craziness or the genius of our lead guitarist Renato Dani and all the atmosphere around. I’m not the right person to ask for myself of course. 

    •  What is your favorite song to play live? Always a tough question to answer. 

    Our intro song “Born To Rock and Roll” is the one that is really giving us power for the rest of the show usually because it does make react right away the audience. 

    •  If you could collaborate on a song or tour, what band would you choose and why? 

    AC/DC of course, they are the most popular rock band ever, to seduce their audience. 

    •  What drives you as a musician? Being creative is definitely number one. 

    Yes, but being on stage too because there is something really magic happening between the band and the audience Every time that I’m on stage that’s what I feel and I would say also the whole process to create songs. For myself basically writing lyrics and then record them and try to make it groove as much as possible. 

    •  What band member gets the most *Attention* from the fans? 

    Renato Dani definitely does. 

    •  Who is the laziest band member when it comes to load in and load out each night?

    Our bass player Renato Di Paolo, lazy in the whole process, but so talented. 

    •  What is the single greatest musical memory so far while being in the band?

    Our US tour in 1989 on the East Coast, I got so many beautiful souvenirs of beautiful people that we met. A beautiful band too  that was called “Sittin’ Pretty” and their audience became our audience and we kept contact for a long time. It was so generous and marvelous people

    •  If the band were thrown into a wrestling battle royal, which member would win?  Who would be the first to be thrown over the ropes? 

    I hate those kinds of sports, so I never thought about it. 

    •  What can fans expect next from the band? 

    Just to hear much more of Rash Panzer everywhere and to rediscover our “ Back on the Rocks Remastered “ album.

The track appears on the band’s upcoming full-length album, Mid Death Crisis, out this Friday, April 25 via Napalm Records.

    “No Apologies” wastes no time ripping into a heavy rock rager, laced with fiery guitar leads and even more searing lyrics. The fast-romping anthem is an unapologetic exorcism of toxic demons and even more toxic people, and arrives alongside a new music video, also featuring Taime Downe.

    “This is the most rock n’ roll song I’ve written in years. I wanted to go back to my roots, and my roots are 80s glam. The name at the top of that list was Faster Pussycat, so it made total sense to have Taime Downe guest on this track. Having one of my rock n’ roll idols alongside me in the studio was an honor. We whipped up a nasty little middle finger salute to ourselves on this one, and the result is ‘No Apologies’.”

    After returning in 2022 with his widely-acclaimed full-length album Horrifier (#8 US Top New Artist Albums), as well as several major tours supporting his solo work and celebrated Murderdolls reunion shows, the Duke of Spook is back with Mid Death Crisis! WEDNESDAY 13 dubs the album as a fun, campy, “leave-your-brain-at-the-door” ragerand a true return to his hard-rocking roots! Produced by guitarist Alex Kane (Life, Sex & Death, Enuff Z’Nuff, Antiproduct) and mixed by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Prong, DevilDriver) the album oozes infectious 80s sleaze metal energy.

    Eerie introductory track “There’s No Such Thing As Monsters” vibrates with electricity before industrial-tinged “Decease and Desist” kicks in full blast. WEDNESDAY 13’s trademark crooning wastes no time entering the fold as he careens through the high-octane horror anthem. First single “When the Devil Commands” instantly proves itself as a stunner with an unforgettable hook, charging arena rock-laden drum production and chugging guitars, before tracks like “Rotting Away” and “Blood Storm” ensnare with metallic goth-punk energy that will have crowds moving wall to wall. High res)   In line with their biggest North American tour to date kicking off this week in Seattle, Dublin quintet Fontaines D.C. have released a deluxe edition of their acclaimed fourth album ROMANCE. Available on all digital services via XL Recordings, ROMANCE (Deluxe Edition) adds three songs to the original 11 track album. In addition to the recent “It’s Amazing To Be Young” and its stunning, Luna Carmoon-directed music video, the deluxe album also features the brand new, James Ford-produced song “Before You I Just Forget”. Completing the trio is a live, stripped-back version of “Starburster” that sees the band melding their biggest song to date with David Lynch’s “In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song)”, which originally featured on the soundtrack of Lynch’s 1977’s Eraserhead film.

    Speaking on the new music, Conor Curley said “‘Before You I Just Forget’ is a song that started with a vision of this really blown out sound, something that heaved and shifted with new details, becoming apparent every time you would listen. Like never being able to step in the same river twice, the song morphs and changes, finishing with an incredible string part by Grian.”  

    The release precedes a huge summer of live activity for Fontaines D.C. In addition to the 24 date North American tour—their first headline shows in the States since 2022—which culminates in three sold out shows at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on May 16-18, the band will perform to 100,000 people across four sold out UK outdoor headline shows this summer. These include a 45,000-capacity event at London’s Finsbury Park on July 5 alongside events in Manchester, Cardiff and Newcastle. These shows will crown sold-out headline dates around the world, including Europe, Asia, Australia and North America alongside a run of high-profile festival appearances.     Scottish progressive post-metal artisans DVNE unveil their epic, critically-adored new full-length, Voidkind, out now on Metal Blade Records.Forged in Edinburgh in 2013 by Frenchman Victor Vicart and native Scot Dudley Tait, DVNE have been building a powerful head of steam since their second album, 2021’s kaleidoscopically mesmerizing Etemen Ænka, their first release for the legendary Metal Blade Records label, and a concerted hike up the greasy pole for this enigmatic outfit. The record ultimately enabled DVNE to embark on UK and European headlining tours and win spots at such discerning festivals as Hellfest, ArcTanGent, Desertfest, Damnation, and Resurrection.     Just like last year, the Lingen-based e-commerce specialist EMP Exclusive Merchandise Products continues to delight fans – and not just with its merchandise sales. Whether it’s Bruce Dickinson, Hämatom, or, more recently, Eisbrecher and soon, Epica, bands of all calibers have been lining up at EMP stores for some time now to meet their fans in person at autograph sessions or other special events.
    Next up are two visits from metalcore legends CALIBAN , who will be bringing their brand-new album “Back From Hell” (release: April 25) directly to the signing session at the EMP Store Dortmund:

    The German band has been a defining force in metalcore for over two decades, and with “Back From Hell” they deliver the result of a two-and-a-half-year creative journey in which they discovered a new sonic direction and meticulously refined it, while simultaneously preserving the essence of their signature style and redefining their unmistakable metalcore sound. The new LP deals with themes such as inner struggle, resilience, and catharsis, combining the band’s trademark crushing riffs and guttural vocals with atmospheric melodies and modern production. It also features guest contributions from Jonny McBee (The Browning), Joe “Bad” Badolato (Fit For An Autopsy), and Lukas Nicolai (Mental Cruelty), among others.

    Led by founding members Andreas Dörner (vocals) and Marc Görtz (guitar), the five musicians will not only be in Dortmund just in time for the new album release. And that’s good news for anyone who can’t make it there on that day, because just under a month later, there will be another opportunity to get the record signed at the Leipzig store :
