PUSCIFER’S NORMAL ISN’T TOUR HITS RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE ON MAY 3

NEW ALBUM NORMAL ISN’T ARRIVES FEBRUARY 6 – WATCH “SELF EVIDENT” NOW – HERE

“Self Evident” video directed by Mat Mitchell and María Aceves Diego

Oct. 21, 2025, Denver, CO  – Puscifer, the multi-dimensional band featuring Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell and Carina Round, brings their highly-anticipated Normal Isn’t Tour to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 3rd. Tickets are on-sale Friday, Oct. 24 at 10.a.m. local time via AXS.com, with a venue pre-sale launching on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. using code PUSCIFER26.

The tour celebrates the band’s first new album in over five years, Normal Isn’t (Feb. 6, Puscifer Entertainment/Alchemy Recordings/BMG). The record channels the post-punk influences that shaped the members’ early musical experiences while pushing into darker, more guitar-driven territory.

“We’re definitely leaning into our early influences,” Keenan shares. “It’s the place where goth meets punk. It’s where I came from.”

Fans can get an early listen to new music with today’s release of “Self Evident” and its accompanying video (https://youtu.be/NfQb5-NEyr8). The video was filmed during a special August performance at Exchange L.A., where Puscifer previewed Normal Isn’t in full for an intimate crowd.

Written and recorded across Arizona, Los Angeles, and on the road during last year’s Sessanta tour, Normal Isn’t blends the dark electronics and sharp humor Puscifer is known for with a more spontaneous creative process. “From the outset, we had discussed an element of rawness and edge, which guitar brings,” shares Mitchell, who co-produced the album. “We got rid of the guard rails and made the music more aggressive.”

For Keenan, this release represents a new approach to songwriting. While he’s always been deeply involved in shaping Puscifer’s sound, this time he set-up his own digital recording system and built full song ideas before presenting them to Mat and Carina.

That shift gives the music fresh immediacy, one that Round says changed the dynamic in the studio. “Instead of just saying, ‘I want this to sound like Fleetwood Mac on cocaine if they had a baby with PJ Harvey,’ Maynard was showing us his intention, which was really cool,” she explains. “In Puscifer, any idea can totally change without any preciousness, and everybody is on board – not unlike an insane asylum. We found each other because we’re demented in a symbiotic way.”

Normal Isn’t reflects this time we are living in,” Keenan adds. “As storytellers and artists, our job is to observe, interpret, and report. We take in our environment and share what we see, and what we see around us does not appear normal. Not by a long shot.”

Contributors to the new collection include Greg Edwards (bass), Gunnar Olsen (drums), and Sarah Jones (drums) with guests Tony Levin (bass on “Normal Isn’t” and “Seven One”), Danny Carey (drums on “Seven One”) and Mr. Ian Ross (father of Atticus Ross, who narrates “Seven One”).

Normal Isn’t is available now for pre-order and pre-saves (https://Puscifer.lnk.to/NormalIsnt), including multiple limited-edition vinyl variants: standard black, indie retail orange swirl, a Puscifer.com exclusive black ice and clear with black splatter, and a Queen B Vinyl Café fruit punch in tan with black and white splatter. The album is also available on CD, cassette, and digitally.

Puscifer is a band of three creative confidants, namely Mat Mitchell, Carina Round, and Maynard James Keenan, who fuse music, performance, and visual art into a singular experience. Over the years, Puscifer has carved an indelible mark on the cultural landscape, releasing a series of acclaimed albums, selling out famed venues, appearing on the lineups of Coachella, Bonnaroo, and other major festivals, and even curating their own touring festival, Sessanta. They’ve provided what was essentially the soundtrack to the first season of “Yellowstone,” and their albums regularly land on the top 30 of the Billboard Top 200. They’ve made memorable appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”and the “The Late Show,” bringing their signature blend of precision, wit, and theatricality to late night television.

Puscifer has also welcomed arevolving door of collaborators, from musicians like Greg Edwards, Gunnar Olsen, and Sarah Jones to remixers including Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Phantogram, and Sir Mix-A-Lot, as well as actors Bob Odenkirk and Milla Jovovich. It’s also a universe for the (mis)adventures of original characters: Billy D, (his wife) Hildy Berger, Major Douche, and Special Agent Dick Merkin. More than a band, Puscifer is a creative ecosystem; a boundary-pushing collective where sound, story, and spectacle collide.

GRAMMY and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-nominated rock band, The Black Crowes, led by founding brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1994 album Amorica with a deluxe reissue box set. The deluxe box set, available as a 5LP or 3CD set, chronicles the band’s evolution through the songs that became Amorica

Amorica is set for release on November 14, 2025, via UMe – pre-order/pre-save HERE

To mark the reissue, The Black Crowes unveiled “Bitter, Bitter You,” an unreleased track from the Amorica era that captures the raw emotion and sonic edge of the original sessions – listen HERE

The deluxe box set features Tallest, a studio album of 9 newly mixed songs from the Tall sessions. Tall, the legendary unreleased album recorded before Amorica, was initially scrapped by Chris and Rich to bring a new creative energy to the recording of Amorica. George Drakoulias and Martin Pradler have done new mixes from the original multitrack recordings. The set includes 3 unreleased recordings: “Bitter, Bitter You,” “Title Song,” and “Paris Song,” an instrumental that evolves into the Amorica track “Cursed Diamond.”

Also included in the deluxe edition is The Marie Laveau Sessions, featuring 7 previously unreleased studio recordings from October 1992. Recorded at Kingsway Studios in New Orleans, LA, on an off day from the High High The Moon Tour, where Chris and Rich captured the 7 songs that they had worked up during soundcheck.

Additionally, the band also includes 4 live songs recorded for a worldwide live radio broadcast to premiere Amorica from AIR Studios in London, UK, on October 25, 1994.  The Amorica album was remastered from the original 1/4″ production master tape by Chris Athens. The album now includes 3 b-sides, the Taj Mahal cover of “Chevrolet” and new mixes of “Song Of The Flesh” and the instrumental “Sunday Night Buttermilk Waltz.”

The LP box set includes a fanzine with an interview with Chris and Rich chronicling the evolution of Amorica, a classic 20″x30″ poster, a bumper sticker, and a slip mat.

Following the massive success of Shake Your Money Maker (1990) and The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion (1992), which together earned 7x Platinum certifications and fueled relentless world tours, the Robinson brothers faced immense pressure to continue their streak. Instead of bending to outside expectations, they delivered Amorica: a bold declaration of independence and creative freedom that would forever cement The Black Crowes as one of rock’s most uncompromising bands. Long misunderstood, the title Amorica reveals its true heart in plain sight – with ‘Amor’ meaning love, the album stands as a raw, psychedelic love letter to freedom, brotherhood, and the uncompromising pursuit of art without permission.

Amorica was about breaking free and doing things on our own terms,” said Chris Robinson. “It wasn’t about fitting into what was happening in music at the time. It was about trusting our instincts – and 30 years later, that’s still who we are.”

Rich Robinson adds: “The bond between us, even when tested, always came back to the music. That’s what Amorica represents – our belief in ourselves and in this band.”

The anniversary release revisits fan favorites, including “Wiser Time,” “Descending,” and “Gone,” while also spotlighting deep cuts that showcase the band’s fearless evolution.

The Amorica 30th Anniversary Reissue will be available on November 14 on all major formats. For more information, visit theblackcrowes.com

ABOUT THE BLACK CROWES: The Black Crowes stand as one of rock & roll’s most iconic and unapologetic bands, defined by raw energy, soulful swagger, and a catalog that has shaped generations. Since reuniting in 2019, the Robinson Brothers have reignited the fire that first made them a global force, bringing their electrifying live show to more than 150 concerts across 20 countries worldwide. Their career has been marked by timeless records, unforgettable tours, and a fearless spirit that continues to inspire both fans and fellow musicians. In recent years, The Black Crowes have been recognized with their first GRAMMY nomination in more than three decades for Happiness Bastards (Best Rock Album) and a 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination. These milestones amplify their continued relevance and enduring impact. The band also commemorated the 25th anniversary of their historic performances with Jimmy Page by re-releasing the acclaimed live album Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes: Live at the Greek in March 2025. True to form, The Black Crowes remain committed to delivering stripped-down, bare-boned rock & roll: gritty, loud, and in your face. No gloss, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at its very best.
  • Artist Spotlight Sunstroke Caravan

Sunstroke Caravan – Rock Rage Radio Interview

    1. Tell our Rock Fans about the band’s latest release. Where did the band record, with who, and what was the experience like?

We actually recorded everything ourselves — partly in a garage and partly in Kendall Wynott’s basement. The experience was awesome because it gave us full control to really zero in on every detail and make sure each part matched what we wanted to express emotionally through the music. There’s something special about capturing those raw, honest moments where you’re not just playing notes, you’re playing the character of the song. We really tried to channel that authenticity — to make every track feel alive and true to what we were feeling at the time.

    2. How long was the writing process and what inspired you on this release?

We’ve been working on these songs over the past year, taking a more modern approach by releasing one single at a time instead of dropping a full album all at once. Things have changed a lot in the music world — it’s more about consistent releases now, so we’ve been spacing them about a month apart and focusing on making sure each one stands strong on its own.

When it comes to writing, we try to pull ideas straight from each other — from that universal energy you tap into when you’re really present and connected. It’s about being quiet enough to let those emotions surface and then shaping them into something that feels honest. Each song has its own emotional core, and our goal is to translate that feeling as authentically as possible.

    3. What changed during this process from previous releases?

Three of us — myself, Matt Wilson, and Mike Morine — were in a previous band together, and Kendall Wynott and I actually played in a band about 20, maybe even 25 years ago. So there’s a lot of shared history and chemistry in this lineup. Coming back together just felt natural, like we already understood each other’s creative direction before even saying much.

What’s really changed this time around is how much we’ve each honed in on our own craft. We’ve matured — both as musicians and as people — and that’s reflected in the music. Everything we release now feels authentic and emotionally grounded. The songs speak to what people are going through today — the challenges, the confusion, the resilience — all those human experiences that connect us.

In a way, this release bridges our past and present. Where our earlier material might have leaned more on introspection, this one feels like it’s in sync with what’s happening in the world right now. It’s both personal and outward-looking — and I think that balance is what makes it stand out.

    4. What’s next for the band? Any tours or festivals lined up?

We’ve got a few shows in the works — both locally and regionally — and we’re also talking with a few artist reps to see about lining up some festival dates in the new year. We’re really looking forward to that, especially with the momentum from these new releases.

On top of that, we’re heading back into the “studio” — which in our case is mostly the garage — later this month to start tracking another five songs we’ve got ready. We’ll also be doing some writing over the winter, so it’s a good balance of staying creative while getting ready for the spring and summer touring season.

We like releasing singles one at a time — it gives each song its own space to breathe and connect with listeners. So fans can definitely expect a steady stream of new music heading into next year.

    5. Describe your live show to a fan who hasn’t seen you perform before.

Live, we’re energetic and a little bit on the edge — a solid rock-alternative band with a lot of drive. If you’ve never seen us before, definitely come out. It’s an experience worth having. We put a lot of focus on connecting with the crowd — that’s a huge part of what we do. True engagement and authenticity on stage are everything to us, and we really feed off that exchange of energy with the audience.

    6. What’s your favorite song to play live?

It’s a tough call, but probably No Tomorrow or Dead Alive. Both are highly energetic, really fun to play, and they carry that kind of underdog spirit that we relate to. They’re powerful songs that always seem to click with the crowd.

    7. If you could collaborate on a song or tour with any band, who would it be and why?

We’d love to collaborate with some incredible Canadian acts like Sloan or Wintersleep — both are huge influences. Playing with Matt Mays or Adam Baldwin would be amazing too; they’re phenomenal local artists who’ve really paved the way for Atlantic rock.
If it were up to me personally, I’d say Pearl Jam. I grew up on alternative rock and grunge, and Pearl Jam has always been one of those bands that stuck with me. That kind of energy and sincerity in their music has had a lasting impact.

    8. What drives you as a musician?

Connection and creativity. Music has always been a place of healing for me — a way to express and process emotions — but it’s really about that connection. When you’re on stage and everything clicks, there’s this feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself. Those moments of serendipity and shared emotion are what make it all worth it.

    9. Which band member gets the most attention from fans?

Definitely our drummer, Matt Wilson. He always steals the spotlight somehow!

    10. Who’s the laziest band member when it comes to load-in and load-out?

Also Matt Wilson — without question. He’s usually the first one ready for a nap while the rest of us are hauling gear.

    11. What’s the single greatest musical memory so far while being in the band?

We played a festival down in Barrington Passage — its first year running — and it was incredible. The crowd was so engaged, the atmosphere was amazing, and it was extra special because my family was there. It was the first time my young kids saw me perform live, which made it a pretty unforgettable moment.

    12. If the band were thrown into a wrestling battle royal, which member would win? Who would be the first to be thrown over the ropes?

Mike Morine would probably take the win — he’s got that quiet determination that sneaks up on you. As for who’d be thrown over the ropes first? Definitely Matt Wilson… or maybe Kendall Wynott. Honestly, those two would probably end up ro-sham-bo’ing for it mid-ring to decide who goes over first.

    13. What can fans expect next from the band?

More live shows and a lot more music. We’ve got several new songs dropping over the next few months, and we’re really excited about what’s coming. We truly appreciate everyone who’s been listening, sharing, and supporting us — it means a lot. We think you’ll love what’s next.

October 10, 2025 – From their tiny sovereign nation in the middle of a river somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, experimental electronic supergroup CVCHE have released their new single “The Star” from their upcoming debut album Get Fluffy, out later this year. PRESS HERE to listen to the single, a transportive, mesmerizing galaxy of Rural Canadian Techno that beamed down to earth during a late-night jam session with Chris Seligman, founding member of acclaimed Canadian indie-rock band Stars.   “We were in the studio late one night, mostly just dialing in sounds and chasing ideas. Nothing too serious at first,” shares CVCHE on how the new single came to be. “At some point we started shaping these space-inspired tones on the synths, not with any grand plan, just because they felt good. The name came naturally. It was a starry night. Chris Seligman was there. He is a Star. And is in the band Stars. Everything was pointing upward. So, we called it The Star. It was either that or “Untitled Version 47,” and this one sounded a bit better. Obviously because Chris Seligman is a legend. A nice little late-night sock-jam session.”   Harnessing the powerhouse talents of Jimmy Shaw (Metric, Broken Social Scene), Liam O’Neil (Kings of Leon), Dave Hodge (Broken Social Scene, Leisure Cruise), and conceptual artist Jon Morris (Windmill Factory, NOWHERE.io) to quietly redefine a genre of electronic music that no one asked to be redefined, CVCHE (pronounced “Ceviche”) have been rolling out music from their forthcoming debut album including their recent single “Thumper,” a dreamy, uplifting track perfect for road tripping through the mountains or laying in the grass, which followed their bewildering symphony “Never Whatever.” PRESS HERE to watch the kaleidoscopic official video inspired by the band’s origin story of listening to “sock jams” — sliding around on a hardwood floor in big, fluffy socks to downbeat techno.   On a mission to make releasing music as fun as creating it, CVCHE’s singles soundtrack the levels in their custom-designed videogame where you guide CVCHE’s pixelated fish mascot and spiritual leader Fluffy through landscapes synced with the band’s music on a mission to save his reef. PRESS HERE to play. Fan favorite “Bitcoin Takes A Hit” was also released alongside CVCHE’s very own memecoin $FLUFFY which offers token holders VIP perks including early access to merch, tickets, and exclusive events.   Making a name for themselves with their own brand of techno (a term used loosely and with love in the same way people say “salad” when referring to Jell-O with marshmallows in it), CVCHE’s singles – including previous releases “Welcome To CVCHE,” “Eyes of Darkness – A Novel by Dean Koontz,” and “Get Fluffy” – were created using a large collection of analog, vintage synthesizers from the band’s tiny sovereign nation in Canada where the only club in town is your own waxed floor.

ABOUT CVCHE First coming together in 2022 to remix Metric’s “All Come Crashing,” CVCHE began organically at Jimmy Shaw’s hideaway on a river in the Canadian countryside, a place which quickly became known for creative hangs, good food, great music, and its enviable “sock jams” – sliding around in big socks on a slippery wood floor to the downbeat techno of The Field, Jon Hopkins, and Boards of Canada. Inspired to make their own brand of “sock jam” techno, CVCHE began work on their upcoming debut album Get Fluffy. Recording the collection over the course of a year while moonlighting in some of the biggest rock bands in the world, CVCHE are now unveiling the project piece by piece and – with possibly the best merch in the indie electronic scene – deeply encourage you to grab your headphones, break out your fluffiest socks, and press play wherever you stream your bangers as nightclubs are overrated and drinks at home don’t cost $18.
