    Launching their own festival marks a key moment for ALTER BRIDGE – not just as a celebration of their legacy, but as a bold step into curating their own live experience, bringing together a handpicked lineup of artists and connecting with fans in a whole new way.

    With more than two decades under their belts, ALTER BRIDGE continue to carve their name deeper into rock history. Known for their thunderous live shows, searing dual guitars, and unforgettable melodies, the Florida-formed four piece – Myles Kennedy (vocals/guitar), Mark Tremonti (guitar/vocals), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums) – have played to millions worldwide and earned a reputation as one of the most consistent and respected names in modern rock.

    Now, after more than seven years away from Welsh stages, they’re coming back with something big.

    “We realised we haven’t played Wales in over seven years,” says Myles Kennedy. “To make up for lost time, we thought it would be cool to do something extra special.     Grammy winning songwriter, solo artist, and Creed frontman SCOTT STAPP has released Deadman’s Trigger: A Short Film. The 9 minute, 13 second short co-stars Scott Stapp & Anthony Stapp, directed by Tyler Dunning Evans, with music by SCOTT STAPP. The film features “Deadman’s Trigger,” the 3rd single from chart-topping solo album Higher Power (Napalm Records) – the track is climbing the rock charts now after two consecutive radio hits – “Higher Power” and “Black Butterfly” reached Top Ten and Top Five, respectively. 

    As the inspiration and soundtrack for the father/son saga, “Deadman’s Trigger” is an explosive track that pulses with sonic swagger, anguish, and idealism. 

    Billboard marvels at Stapp’s loaded schedule as a solo artist and voice of Creed who’s “job description now includes starring as an action hero in a short film.” Executive Director, Jason Lipshutz continues:

    The rock-fueled Western was shot over two days at Whitehorse Ranch in Landers, CA. It’s a classic Hollywood show-down as a man of faith, haunted by unspeakable nightmares and villains, is forced to take matters into his own hands when what he loves is threatened. In a hail of Hellfire he protects, and is saved in return, by an unlikely hero. 
    Online speculation about the premiere began when a live-action trailer framed by film credits appeared on Monday (7/28). In it, a fully-loaded cowboy strolls frame as Old West music conjures Doc Holliday, cracked earth, and tumbleweeds. Their questions were answered when Deadman’s Trigger: A Short Film premiered Thursday, July 31, exclusively on YouTube.

    “Adapting Scott’s storyline for the screen was easy because he is a narrative songwriter – the arc is already there. As a collaborator, he’s clear on his vision and values other creators’ expertise. With Anthony on-set and Milan working behind the scenes, Scott was hands-on in establishing safety measures and his love for his kids translated to a vulnerable but fierce performance in the final cut.”

    Band to debut “Hallelujah” at Warped Tour in Long Beach this month  South American headline tour to kick off in October

    (New York, NY) – On the heels of a successful tour alongside Baby Metal, Black Veil Brides are back with their first piece of new music since 2024’s chart-topping single “Bleeders.” The band – comprised of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton and drummer Christian Coma – return to their roots with the aggressive new track “Hallelujah.” The Tampa Florida based choir “One Voice Ensemble” also leant their talents to the recording. The song is being released by their label partners Spinefarm and was produced by Andy Biersack and Jake Pitts.

    “’Hallelujah’ is an important song for us, not only because it is the first track from the new record, but also as a signifier of what’s to come for the band. On a narrative level, it represents the themes and ideas I am exploring lyrically on the album. I am fascinated by the current state of discourse and how often we seem to prioritize ideological certainty over the heart and soul of humanity. Over the years we have developed a tremendous connection with our audience, which is often dismissed or misinterpreted by the ‘scene.’  We stand at a unique inflection point culturally and I want to be able to speak openly about how much I believe in being true to yourself over the fear of mass hysteria or in-group recriminations,” explains Andy Biersack. “When my grandfather’s voice spoke to ‘the outcasts’ in the first moments of our first record in 2010, it was a sincere call to arms for all those who feel different. In many ways this record is the natural evolution of that same idea. This is the heaviest and most vitriolic BVB record by far but more importantly I believe it is the most sincere and honest record we have ever made.”

    To coincide with the new single, Black Veil Brides is releasing an animated video for “Hallelujah.” The video is directed by Marco Pavone (The Black Dahlia Murder, Pink Floyd, Shadow of Intent). The band will continue to release more visual content over the coming months to support the new song. A teaser for the track got fans in a frenzy when it was released last week.     The band will also be touring in support of the new single. The song will make its live performance debut at Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA on July 26th. Black Veil Brides will also be making appearances at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY (September 20), Rock The Locks Festival in Umatilla, OR (September 26) and Aftershock Festival (October 5) before heading to South America for six headline shows.     Like their band name suggests, Black Veil Brides evoke transcendent visions of an impenetrable hereafter, intermingling with a steely focus on the dark passions and elusive mysteries of the here and now.
